About Me

I am a full-time artist working with clay and paint from my home studio in Northwest Arkansas. After many years of teaching my passion for art to my students in the public schools in Northeast Arkansas, I moved to Northwest Arkansas to follow my dream of becoming a full-time artist. As a teacher I was able to explore many materials and styles of art with my students. I love a variety of styles and have a love for learning and trying new things. Learning is a lifelong journey. Enjoy the journey.

I enjoy creating colorful works in a variety of 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional materials to create fun and whimsical art. Clay has become a favorite medium to work with. Lately I have been creating little clay sculptures of houses and other decorative pieces for the home. When I am not busy creating with clay, I love to work with acrylics and watercolor to create whimsical and colorful works of art in a variety of subjects ranging from houses and florals to semi-abstract pieces. My love of textures, colors, and design continuously inspire my work.

I have created and sold works in pen and ink, colored pencil, watercolor, acrylics, and clay. My work can be found in both private homes and public spaces, including churches, banks, and restaurants across Arkansas and the US. Architectural drawings, paintings, and sculptures have been a constant subject of my creations throughout my career.
